Is an eSignature legally binding?
In most jurisdictions, yes — for ordinary commercial agreements. ESIGN and UETA in the US, eIDAS in the EU, and similar laws elsewhere recognise visual eSignatures. For contracts that legally require a qualified digital signature (some real-estate, government, and EU regulated work), use a certificate-based service.
Can I save my signature for later?
The current session keeps your drawn or typed signature for re-use across pages. To save permanently, take a transparent-background screenshot of your signature and upload it as an image when you sign next time.
Will the signature survive PDF compression or editing?
Yes. The signature is rendered into the PDF as part of the page content, so it travels with the document the same way text does. Compression preserves it; redaction or page deletion would obviously affect it.
